I know, I know, I have been gone for 11 months. Just as I thought blogging is difficult to keep up with. It takes a lot of dedication. Something I tried so hard to achieve but fell and trying to get back up again.
So the Wandering Gypsies, Kaiya and myself, will be heading out in a few days for a new adventure. We grabbed a mid-1980's 40 foot Country Coach with a 3 foot deck on the back. This thing is a monster. It has been years since I have driven a school bus or owned a limo and a 30 foot box truck with a separate cab. I may hire someone for the 3 hours of driving that is needed for an insurance discount and my own piece of mind.
Let's see, what has been going on. We found some interesting places in Massachusetts
Well in June we found The End of the World and it is actually in Hingham, Massachusetts. We did find this guy eating his lunch.

In July we found Dunn Park in Gardner, Massachusetts. What a lovely place to spend the day. Many go early in the morning to get their exercise around the large pond that is now wheelchair accessible. After 9am there is a per car charge.
In January we went wandering around Fairhaven's coastline off of Sconticut Neck Road and this is the remains of a quahog business, now located in a marsh pond. It may have collapsed during the Great Hurricane of 1938. The waterway has shifted many times over the decades. The metal piece is appears to be the only remaining piece of equipment to be found.
Last month they found I have 3 spots in my Lymph Node System so the Sarcoidosis still spreading. The doctors sure made a huge stink when they saw the lumps in my breast in March but I looked back some 13 months ago on a Chest CT and it mentions the 2 nodules in my breast and that my spleen is loaded.
This is my right breast with 2 pen marks where the nodules are located. The top pen mark has a 1.6cm node. Also found a nodule on my throat.
Kaiya and I went back to Deep Brook in New Bedford recently. She had a blast and I sat in the brook. It was nice for 20 minutes and then the gnats found me, yuck. There were at least a hundred around my head and they were calling all their family and friends to join them so we left.
Before I go I'll share a little history about this brook. This brook
begins a couple of towns over in Lakeville at the New Bedford Water
Reservoir. Back in the late 1700's and early 1800's there were mills along the brook. If you follow this brook for apx 2 miles it will meld with another brook and it forms Acushnet River which travels about 3 miles and dumps into New Bedford Harbor that is formed by Buzzard's Bay. New Bedford shut down all the mills in Lakeville, Freetown and Acushnet by mid-1800's so the people would have water for their homes. The mills in New Bedford remained open as they dumped their toxins into the harbor and they have been dredging the harbor for years now and will dredge for many years to try to capture as many toxins as they can. I find this to be an impossible feat that will cost billions of dollars. Most of the mills along the harbor were closed down abt 1990 after they were fined millions of dollars.
Kaiya is on a long ago forgotten road that has a natural spring. It is located near Deep Brook. The road may have been used to access a mill or one of White's Family farming acres of cows and meadow feeding and bedding grass.
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a Great Week
ttyl,
Spirit and Kaiya
