Besides the walks and archeological searches I have been getting ready to turn a half a century old, yep, now officially 50 as of today, wow! I don't feel like I am 50, mentally. Although if you have watched the way I am walking for the last 2 days you would see I have a knee issue, gimping everywhere until I got a couple lagers into me tonight.
After searching around the archeological area Sunday I was surprised with yummy take out food, cheesy ziti and a nice Italian salad and topped it off with Carvel ice cream cake, a balloon, cards and gifts. And it all was truly a wonderful surprise.
What a great night I had with my friend and 2 dogs, Iris and Happy Jack.
Happy Jack, aka The Little Bastard, rescued when 4 months old, now a 9 year old Toy Fox Terrier.
Iris, Chesapeake Bay Retriever, rescued when 4 months, will be 9 years old this summer, blind in both eyes now. She can be grumpy due to severe arthritis. She is so jealous of Kaiya so they can't be next to each other.
I am loving this restaurant. The games are fun the employees are fantastic.
Tonight I chose the fish tacos, to die for. Two good size pieces of fish in 2 soft shell tacos with lettuce and tomatoes, I don't know if they added anything else but I added garlic parmesan sauce and tofu, scrumptious. The salsa is not for the light of heart, spicy. I was in heaven. I received chocolate cake with chocolate chips in it with vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce drizzled all over it and they sang to me Happy Birthday, so sweet.
I made a couple of things today. Let me share one with you.
